The end of the trip

In the end I went:

  • Brussels
  • Vienna
  • Bratislava
  • Innsbruck
  • Ljubljana
  • Salzburg
  • Bruges
  • Gembloux

…and I returned to London on Tuesday. Total 30 days.

I return to my own home in Bangkok next Tuesday/Wednesday and back to work the week after.

It was a very successful trip and I enjoyed every day. I wasn’t lonely and this blog played a large part in that. Thank you to everyone who has kept in touch, commented on here or on FB and who have sent encouragement. You have all helped me enjoy my trip and I appreciate the time you have taken.

It’s pretty likely I will interrail again – Italy is inviting me as is Scandinavia (camping in Narvik anyone?).

I will do some summing up posts in due course, looking at costs, packing and hostels.

In the meantime, take care and thank you for following.

  2. …and thanks for taking us all along on your adventure! So many places we have on that list now. Useful info for planning similar trips You have certainly inspired me to “Press on” with my WordPress ability 🤓… may I ask, do you use the WordPress Personal plan? Then I WILL need to follow in your footsteps… Look forward to Season 2, Thank you! 😎

      1. I’ve not definitely decided yet but it will be in Eastern Europe. Poland and hopefully some other countries, I’m reading and saving loads of posts on the Facebook group to help me decide. The European Rail map should be arriving today so let the planning commence!
