I chose this hostel as it was 4 minutes from the train station and also 3-4 minutes from the old town. This location worked superbly.
I was upgraded on arrival due to overbooking. However I don’t think I mentioned that I was subsequently downgraded. The end of the first full day after my mad mountain hike I got back at around 9.15pm. My keycard was not working so I went to reception.
I was then asked to move back to the hostel part of the hotel – as in straight away. The receptionist explained she’d made a mistake and the upgrade was for one night only. I was not happy about being moved at 9.15pm at night and not really happy about moving at all. As my friend said ‘you pay to be settled in one space’. However although I refused to move that night, I did move the following morning (at 6.30am because I was on an early tour).

The new room was still an upgrade from the capsule I had originally booked. I had my own ‘cabin’, with a shared bathroom. That was still great to be honest. I could stand up, get dried/changed and also keep my things in there as the room was lockable.
Above my bed was another bed that belonged to the cabin next door.

There were good amenities in the hostel: kitchen, washing machine and dryer, table football, lots of places to sit and chat.
Bathrooms were modern and pretty clean.

My son stayed in the capsules here and said it was noisy. The capsule doors were noisy themselves.
There is a bakery on the street on the way to the train/bus station that we called at every morning before day trips. Wonderful sandwiches.
They provide soap/shampoo and towels. The laundrette is free but need your own soap powder.
All in all I’d recommend it – especially the cabins if available.
