I’m leaving tomorrow!

And now have a full complement of added gadgets and electrics which I can share and comment on.

Electrics first

• Multi plug adaptor
• Multi plug direct charger
• Portable battery pack
• Small packing cube – just for these things! And charging cables!

This has plugs for any country in the world. Pretty standard fare.

This is similar to above but also has 1 x USB-C and 1 x USB – A charging ports.

I like my new battery pack (15,000mAh) because it plugs directly into wall sockets (no extra cable/plug needed) and it has integral charging cable for Apple products/android. There is also 1 x USB-C and 1 x USB – A charging ports.

On previous travels, I have included cables etc in my toiletries bag or just in certain pockets in my luggage. I like having a set place for them however and so far it has made life easier.

Gadgets

I bought a few gadgets specially for this trip:

• Travel washing line
• Travel bowl
• Travel cutlery (kind of)
• Travel folding, sharp knife

Recommended by fellow travelers on the ‘Interrailing for the Older Crowd’ group.

Not sure this will be good or helpful – basically it’s a bit small!

Blagged a second cutlery set on the flight to UK – sturdy and strong.

Ordered from Amazon – thought it would be useful to eat an avocado, fruit etc.

After the trip I’ll post about what worked and what wasn’t so useful.
